La poesía de Sarah Palin

Conozcan la torre Nakheel, el edificio más alto del futuro (otra vez!) que será levantado en Dubai (sí, también otra vez!). Medirá 1 kilómetro de altura y será parte de un gran complejo urbanístico y comercial, una especie de miniciudad. Así, la torre Burj Dubai que se terminará de construir en septiembre 2009 quedará en ridículo con sus pobres 800 metros de altura (de los cuales gran parte ni siquiera serán habitables, pfff). Hmmm, un kilómetro, ¿eh? Muy bien, ya sólo estamos a 99,999 de lo que se necesita para el elevador espacial. Ojalá que la demencia de estos sultanes de oriente alcance para que pongan 10 mil millones de dólares en nanotubos de carbono y patrocinen esta maravilla en mi tiempo de vida. [Fe]

Dear Cecil:

I’m reading World War Z by Max Brooks, a fictional account of the world’s response to a zombie outbreak. In the book the U.S. military fails miserably in its first real battle against the undead but later changes tactics and ultimately triumphs, as does the rest of the world. I have always wondered how the U.S. military would realistically fight the undead. I hope you can answer.
